As part of the new SuperMotocross World Championship Series, the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship Series calendar appears slightly different this year. Although there are still 17 rounds this year, they are organized a little differently, with four new stops and a new location.
This year, Eli Tomac will battle against Adam Cianciarulo, Jason Anderson, Chase Sexton, and Dylan Ferrandis to defend his title.
This year, there are just two Anaheim rounds: A1 round 1 on January 7 and A2 round 4 on January 28. There will be no Anaheim 3 in 2023. The new Snapdragon Stadium will host the San Diego round.
The 2023 SX schedule will not feature Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Foxborough. Feld said a few years ago that adding new venues would happen every other year or so.
Houston will take place on February 4, Tampa on February 11, East Rutherford on April 22, and Nashville on April 29. Don't miss out on watching all of these new events live on your smart devices. In 2023, there are two weekends off, between rounds 6 (February 11 in Tampa) and 7 (February 25 in Arlington), as well as rounds 11 (March 25 in Seattle) and 12 (April 8 in Glendale).
The conclusion of the series will take place in Salt Lake City. For the third year in a row, Las Vegas is not included on the calendar.
