2026 AMA Supercross round Injury Report

The 2026 AMA Supercross round one race, Anaheim 1, will take place on Saturday night at Angel Stadium. In this article you will see who will miss the race due to injury. Check out the complete Anaheim 1 SX injury report update below:

450SX 

Justin Barcia – Collarbone | In

During an off-season test, Barcia fractured his collarbone. After undergoing surgery, he decides to compete in Anaheim 1.

Jett Lawrence – Ankle, Foot | Out

Lawrence injured his right ankle and foot in an accident while getting ready for the season. He will be absent for a minimum of three months.

Jordon Smith – Shoulder | Out

During the 2025 Monster Energy SMX World Championship final round Smith shoulder was injured. So it is expected that he will return in 7 rounds of the series in Arlington. Austin Forkner will replace Smith in Anaheim 1 and launch Triumph's 450.

Julien Beaumer – Back | Out

Last year in Concord, Beaumer experienced a burst fracture in his L3 vertebra. He will miss supercross events in 2026.

Lux Turner – Wrists | In

Turner's right wrist was fractured during a race in Australia. He has recovered and intends to compete this Saturday.

Jo Shimoda – Back | Out

In late November, Shimoda suffered an accident that resulted in two fractured and dislocated vertebrae in his neck and upper back. After undergoing surgery, he has been cleared of any spinal column injuries and retains complete movement and sensation. However, he will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
