Overview of the 2021 season


Chase Sexton dominated its 2020 250SX East campaign, reaching the podium in eight of the nine games, and his lowest score is fourth. After a fierce battle with second-place contender Shane McElrath, Sexton won five of the nine games. After a strong push over the last three rounds, Sexton won the 250SX East title at the end of the season, nine points ahead of McLearth.


Forecast 2022


Sexton is entering his first 450SX Supercross season, staying with the Honda HRC team with his Honda team. Sexton has proven that after the end of this season, he has adapted to Honda CFR 450R very well. He was able to participate in the outdoor motocross series this summer, and at the end of the season, ranked fifth among some sports big names. Entering his rookie 450SX Supercross season, it is safe to say that Sexton will be a podium contender with teammate Ken Roczen every week.

 

Overview of the 2023 Season

 

Sexton earned Honda's first 450cc Supercross title since 2003 in the thrilling 2023 Supercross season, with six victories and 13 podium places. He was 18 points behind points leader Eli Tomac before round 16. He did, however, leave the contest with an 8-point lead after Tomac was injured.

Sexton finished the first AMA Motocross round in second place. After that, he missed rounds four and five at Red Bud due to illness.

Sexton recorded a 1-1 result to win the first-ever SMX 450cc round.
