The 2023 Supercross and Motocross schedules were announced, along with three additional races in the SuperMotocross Championship.
The Monster Energy Supercross 2023 season will begin on January 7, 2023, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., and culminate on May 13, 2023, at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season starts on May 27 at Fox Raceway in Pala, California, and concludes on August 26 with the Ironman National in Crawfordsville, Indiana, following a one-week hiatus.
In September and October, three races will determine the first SuperMotocross champion.
The combined season's 31 races will be streamed live on the NBC Network at SupercrossTVLive.com.
Each series will have a winner, and points will be used to qualify for the new SuperMotocross Championship (SMX), which starts on September 9, 2023, at a location that will be revealed later. The SMX playoffs round 2 will take place on September 23, 2023, at a different location that will also be disclosed later. The championship event will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where Supercross first debuted in July 1972.
There will be 17 rounds in the Supercross race. In the first three weeks, the Supercross season will take place in Oakland, San Diego, and Anaheim. In 2023, there will be two races in Texas, one on February 4 at NRG Stadium in Houston and the other on February 25 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Infield races return to Daytona and Atlanta in 2023.

The first two SMX Championship locations are not yet confirmed, but it is expected that one will be held on the East Coast and the other in the Midwest. The calendar ends at the LA Coliseum, 35 miles away, on October 14, 2023.
