The Monster Energy AMA Supercross 2024 season opener race, Anaheim 1, happened on January 6, 2024, at Angel Stadium. In 450SX, Jett Lawrence established the record with a 1:00.6 and demonstrated his seriousness throughout his first 450SX season. He's only a tenth of a second faster than the defending champion, Chase Sexton, and Cooper Webb. Tomac is back in sixth place.
Julien Beaumer, a Supercross rookie, took the holeshot in the 250 main event. Levi Kitchen swiftly passed him, but he remained in second place. Beaumer started on the podium but slid to sixth place.
R.J. Hampshire was the man on the move behind them. The 250 veteran displayed some real whoop speed, using the identical pass twice to get from third to first, and won the Anaheim 1 250SX race title.
