The highly anticipated Monster Energy Supercross Championship revealed the complete rider roster for the 2024 season. This year, Monster will include the world's top 20 two-wheeled racers, which are divided among four factory teams in the 450 and 250 classes. All riders will battle in 17 rounds of Supercross in the USA. The 2024 Supercross season will start on January 6 with Anaheim 1 at Angel Stadium.


Monster Energy - Star Racing- Yamaha


450 Class Racers:


#3 Eli Tomac: Tomac had such a fantastic season in 2022, as he won the SX and MX titles and the MX Des Nations for the team. In that year, he was awarded the Action Sports Best Male Athlete ESPY by ESPN. Tomac will return in 2024 with a supercross-only contract, looking to improve on his No. 2 all-time win total.


#32 Justin Cooper: 

Cooper hit his stride outdoors after recovering from an injury that sidelined him from participating in 12 out of the 17 Monster Energy AMA Supercross races. A remarkable comeback led him to secure an impressive second place in the fiercely competitive 250 class of the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship.


#2 Cooper Webb: The Monster Energy AMA The supercross champion, who has won two titles, is back with the squad that helped launch his career. This past season, Webb—who is fourth on the all-time list of supercross wins in the 250 class with eleven—stepped up to take on the supercross elite, placing third in the 450 class. In the first-ever SuperMotocross World Championship, which consisted of three rounds, Webb would also finish in fourth place overall.


250 Racers:


#38 Haiden Deegan: Deegan, a rising star in the sport, stood out in the news of 2023 with remarkable achievements in Monster Energy AMA Supercross (2nd 250 ESX), AMA Pro Motocross Championship (4th 250s), and the SuperMotocross World Championship (1st 250s). When Danger Boy Deegan takes his position at the starting gate, astride his YZ250F, he transforms into a mesmerizing force of nature on wheels. This extraordinary human spectacle demands unwavering attention, as it is impossible to divert your gaze from this fiercely talented racer.


#31 Jordon Smith: Smith had an impressive performance in 2023, securing 4th place in the 250 ESX and 6th place in the SuperMotocross World Championship.


#50 Enzo Lopes: During the 2023 250 WSX season, the Brazilian speedster ran with confidence and pace, finishing five of the eight races in the top five. Lopes has placed no worse than fifth in the 250-class SX standings since 2020.


#57 Nate Thrasher: Despite grappling with multiple injuries, Nate Thrasher has showcased his prowess as a formidable competitor in WSX racing, consistently securing commendable placements throughout the past three years with finishes of 7th, 5th, and 7th.


#59 Daxton Bennick: In 2023, one of the most notable names in the racing industry, Loretta Lynn, witnessed the rise of a talented champion. This exceptional individual not only earned the prestigious AMA Nicky Hayden Horizon Award, recognizing the country's finest amateur racer, but also joined the professional league as a rookie for Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha. Beginning their career in 2024, this promising racer already boasts an impressive track record, with two triumphs in the highly competitive Monster Energy AMA Supercross Futures 250 class and four podium finishes.


#61 Stilez Robertson: Robertson, the recipient of the prestigious 2020 AMA Nicky Hayden Horizon Award, is currently in the midst of a two-year contract with Monster Energy, Star Racing, and Yamaha. Displaying his talent, he achieved a remarkable 3rd place finish on the podium during the Anaheim 2 race last year.


#411 Nick Romano: In the previous season, Nick Romano was sidelined due to a knee injury. According to a report, he will be back in the 2024 Supercross season.
 
#15 Gavin Towers: Gavin Towers, an ambitious Pro-Am racer, takes the lead in Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's focused endeavors in the amateur division for the coming year. He will be competing in Supercross Futures and striving for esteemed national titles in the amateur races.


Monster Energy-Kawasaki


450 Class Racers:


#9 Adam Cianciarulo: (AC) is regarded as one of the greatest amateur racers ever known in the sport, overcoming injuries to achieve an impressive 9th place in the highly competitive premier 450 SX class in 2023.


#21 Jason Anderson-El Hombre, a beloved figure among fans in the world of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, holds a special place on the circuit. Having been crowned the champion of supercross in 2018, this passionate individual hailing from New Mexico displayed impressive skills throughout the season, securing a commendable 6th place overall in the 2023 championship chase of the prestigious 450 class.


250 Class Racers:


#64 Austin Forkner: Forkner, a dominant force in the 250 class, has proven time and again his prowess on the Monster Energy AMA Supercross podium. His lightning-fast speed is unmatched, but it hinges on his ability to stay injury-free due to his relentless and daring racing method.


#63 Cameron McAdoo: Fresh from the heartlands of Iowa emerges a remarkable talent, the victor of the illustrious 2016 Monster Energy Cup Amateur All-Stars championship and a prominent finisher on the coveted Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250 WSX podium in 2021, securing the impressive 3rd position.
Team Honda HRC


250 Class Racers:


#48 Chance Hymas: Having clinched three wins in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250 SX Futures events, Hymas, supported by Monster Energy, has undeniably emerged as a promising talent within the Team Honda HRC program.


#30 Jo Shimoda: Shimoda is moving from the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team to the Team Honda HRC team. During the eventful year of 2023, Shimoda impressed the motocross community by securing an impressive second-place position in both the fiercely competitive 250 class of the Motocross Championship and the exhilarating SMX World Championship.
