2023 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series round 1 Results - 250SX & 450SX

 

The 2023 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series round one was held at Angel Stadium for Anaheim One. Eli Tomac started the new season with a practically flawless performance. While comrade Dylan Ferrandis had to contend with opponents like Joey Savatgy, Jason Anderson, and Aaron Plessinger, he took the lead from beginning to end. In the end, Tomac defeated Ferrandis with ease. Eli Tomac won the 450SX main event race, while Cooper Webb finished second, Chase Sexton third, Dylan Ferrandis fourth, and Ken Roczen fifth.

There was an explosive opening to the 250 main events. In a catastrophic crash, Austin Forkner and another rider collided head-on down the starting straight. Austin, sadly, had to lay there for a few laps before being taken away in the Alpinestars medic rig. At the outset, Jett Lawrence claimed the lead, followed by Cameron McAdoo and RJ Hampshire.
