2022 Indianapolis Supercross Injury Report | 450SX & 250SX

2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Round 11 Injury List - Live Stream

 

2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross round 11 will take place in Indianapolis on Saturday 19 March 2022. Check the full injury report of riders who are playing and who is out.


450SX CLASS


Jason Anderson – Banged Up | In


Anderson pulled out from the 450SX main early after falling on it and crashed awkwardly again shortly after remounting. There was no official mention of specific injuries, but it is believed that he was shot in the head as he fell. Anyway, he's in Indianapolis.


Max Anstie – Ribs, Neck, Lung, Heart | Out


In Minneapolis, Anesti suffered two broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a heart injury. He will ride a motocross today (Thursday) to see how he feels, and on Monday he will ride a supercross track. If he is well, he will return to Seattle.


Benny Bloss – Collarbone, Ankle | Out


After preseason collarbone and ankle injuries, Bloss plans to return to St. Louis.


Adam Cianciarulo – Knee | Out


Cianciarulo missed the Supercross season with a knee injury.


Adam Enticknap – Back | Out


Enticknap cracked the C7 vertebra in Arlington during qualifying. He wants to return to play in St. Louis again.


Dylan Ferrandis – Wrist | Out


Ferrandis had a poor performance on a jump in Detroit and had to retire from the 450SX main event. He didn't break anything, but his bones were bruised, and it hurt too much to ride.


Josh Hill – Hip, Pelvis | Out


During qualifying in Anaheim 3, Hills hip and pelvis cracked, so he is out.


Tristan Lane – Ankle, Knee | In


Lane screams in Detroit, sprained ankle, pinched knee. He is in Indianapolis.


Vann Martin – Back | Out


Martin has fractured T6 and T7 vertebrae in Minneapolis. There is no timetable for his return.


Fredrik Noren – Back | In


Noren has struggled with low back pain all season, which has caused him to miss a few games. He will return to Indianapolis.


Chase Sexton – Back, Lip | In


Sexton had an accident in Detroit as Cooper Webb's blunder caused Sexton to land on him. Sexton's bike knocked him out, causing friction burns and bruises to his back. The wound on Sexton's lips was also stitched. He is in Indianapolis.


Cooper Webb – Hand, Wrist, Shoulder | IN


Webb made a mistake driving into the rhythm lane in Detroit, causing Chase Sexton to run into him. Webb suffered a minor hairline fracture on his hand and extensive bruising. He rides in a week and plans to race in Indianapolis.


Ken Roczen – Health | Out


Ken Roczen has suffered from health problems and suspended his season to get back to 100%. There's no official return date, but more superlatives in 2022 don't seem likely.


250SX EAST REGION


Ramy Alves – Concussion | Out


Alves wants to return to Indianapolis after suffering a concussion in Arlington, but he's not ready to leave. He plans to return to St. Louis.


Justin Cooper – Foot | Out


Because of a foot injury, Cooper was not able to play in the 2022 Supercross.


 Izaih Clark – Ankle | Out


Clark is out with an ankle injury.


Ryder Floyd – Foot | Out


Floyd is out with a fractured metatarsal.


Austin Forkner – Collarbone | Out


Forkner hasn't played since breaking his collarbone in Arlington. If the healing process goes well, he has a chance to return for the final 250SX East race.


Jonah Geistler – Leg | Out


Geistler is out with a fractured tibia and fibula.


Jace Kessler – Wrist | Out


Kessler broke his wrist in Arlington. He has undergone surgery and will likely miss the season.


Max Vohland – Shoulder and Collarbone | In


After cracking his collarbone in Minneapolis, Vohland will return to racing in Indianapolis.


250SX WEST REGION


Mitchell Falk – Back


Falk had a herniated disc, compressing his sciatic nerve. He is out from the Supercross season.


Seth Hammaker – Back, Spleen


Hammaker will be sidelined for the foreseeable future due to a back compression fracture and third-degree spleen injury. He was injured in practice the week before in San Diego.


Ty Masterpool – Wrist


Masterpool is playing again but not sure when he will be able to play again.


Carson Mumford – Shoulder


Mumford crashed in Glendale with a small tear in the left shoulder labrum. He wants to be ready after the rest of the 250SX west.
