2022 Daytona Supercross Injury Report | 450SX & 250SX

Monster Energy AMA Supercross will move to historic Daytona International Speedway on Saturday 5th March 2022. Here you will know who play is and who is out from the race. Check Daytona's full Injury report below:


450SX CLASS


Max Anstie – Ribs, Neck, Lung, Heart | Out


Anstie is currently out after an accident in Minneapolis that left two broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a heart injury. Anstie hopes to be ready to return to Seattle in time, but nothing has been decided yet.


Benny Bloss – Collarbone, Ankle | Out


Due to the collarbone and ankle injury, Bloss will not play in 2022. He hopes to play again soon.


Adam Cianciarulo – Knee | Out


Cianciarulo missed the Supercross season with a knee injury.


 Josh Hill – Hip, Pelvis | Out


Hill was out with a fractured hip and pelvis during qualifying at Anaheim 3.


Vann Martin – Back | Out


Martin fell badly in qualifying in Minneapolis, breaking his T6 and T7 vertebrae. There is currently no timetable for his return.


Fredrik Noren – Back | Out


Noren has struggled with low back pain since Glendale and has been unable to ride properly and has not worked out for a week. He'll be sitting in Daytona "hoping to figure out what's going on and come back ready to go as fast as I can and should."


Aaron Plessinger – Arm | Out


Plessinger broke his arm in training last week. There is no timeline for his return yet, but he will be out shortly.


Alex Ray – Appendix | Out


Ray had an appendectomy before Arlington. He left Daytona but should return to Detroit.


Jerry Robin – Shoulder | TBD


Robin fell on A3 and suffered an AC joint separation. He told us he would sit outside Arlington and go from there. At the time of publication, we hadn't heard back about his status in Daytona.


Joey Savatgy – Knee | Out


Savatgy will miss the rest of their Supercross season due to a ruptured cruciate ligament.


RJ Wageman – Wrist | Out


Wageman fell in Arlington, and his wrist was broken. There is no schedule confirmed, whether he plays or not. However, he misses the rest of the 2022 Seasons races.


250SX EAST REGION


Jack Chambers – Shoulder | Out


Chambers recently suffered an AC joint injury in his shoulder and is expected to miss four weeks.


Justin Cooper – Foot | Out


Due to a foot injury, Cooper is out from the 2022 Supercross Season.


Izaih Clark – Ankle | Out


Clark posted about his broken ankle last week and is out from the future games.


Ryder Floyd – Foot | Out


Floyd is temporarily sidelined with a fractured metatarsal.


Austin Forkner – Collarbone | Out


Forkner crashed heavily in Arlington after Jett Lawrence's cross-jump caused’s mid-air collision. Forkner will miss several rounds with a fractured collarbone.


Jonah Geistler – Leg | Out


Geistler will not return to the game due to fractures in his tibia and fibula.


RJ Hampshire – Head | In


Hampshire had a bad accident with its second 250SX featured race last week and missed race three with a concussion. His team says it's fun to go to Daytona.


Levi Kitchen – Head, Knee | Out


The kitchen got off to a bad start in Arlington last week, ending his night early. This week, his team announced that he is still recovering from a crash and he will not be racing at Daytona. Our own Steve Matthes also reported that Kitchen suffered a broken kneecap in the fall.


Jeremy Martin – Shoulder | Out


Martin missed Daytona after a training accident with a left labrum problem. A schedule for his return has not been announced, but early rumors are that Martin may have surgery in the future.


Jett Reynolds – Wrist | Out


Reynolds will miss most of the media day in Minneapolis with a broken wrist.


Coty Schock – Lung, Shoulder, Knee | Out


Shock in Arlington ended up with a serious crash in Main 2 that ended up with a bruised lung, hematoma in the right shoulder, and swelling in the left knee." He will be back, but not in Daytona.
