The two Monster Energy riders Eli Tomac and Dylan Ferrandis are preparing to compete in the long-awaited competition 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Anaheim, California, on January 8.

The team has worked hard at its new location in Cairo, Georgia, and aims to make good progress on its first front-row appearance this year.

Dylan Ferrandis spent an outstanding rookie year on the YZ450F and won his first top championship title in the penultimate pro motocross race in Para, California. The Frenchman also had a good start to his first game with the 450SX earlier this year, reaching the podium for the first time in the second round of the Supercross in Houston, Texas. He hopes to maintain this momentum into the New Year and battle for another top-ranked sector.

"Our offseason went well," said Ferrandis. "We work hard on and off the bike. We just have a month to get ready for the Supercross 2022 season, but I'm really looking forward to my second season on the 450 and can't wait for the A1! "

Furthermore to Ferrandis winning the championship one weekend ahead of schedule, Yamaha Motors of the United States also won the honor of Manufacturer of the Year, and Monster Energy star Yamaha Racing Team was named Team of the Year. The series also gave Jeremy Coker the best team manager of the year award and Ferrandis' mechanic Alex Campbell received a 450 mechanics of the year award.

I will never overlook this off-season, we have relocated the team across the country and added a new member Eli, so it took a lot of time to get ready for this season; however, it was so exciting said Coker. Eli Tomac and Dylan worked very hard, and they look great. Hard work pays off, and we saw this last year. I hope the 2022 season will look much better!"

Eli Tomac will join the team in 2022 and is looking forward to the first gate drop aboard the Yamaha YF450F at the start of the series at Anaheim's Angel Stadium.  Colorado is a recognized champion contender. After his impressive three consecutive championships (2017-2019) in the Pro Motocross 450MX Championship, he added the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross 450SX Championship to his resume. He is also currently active at the top level of the championship driver and plans to regain the throne in 2022.

"Riding with my teammates at the Star Racing facility in Florida in December is fully prepared. We have all pushed to the next level and are prepared for the Supercross season 2022! ”Said, Tomac.
