2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Round 6 Injury Report

 

The 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross round 6 will start on 15 February 2025 in Detroit, Michigan. Here you will learn who will play and who is out. Check out the Detroit Supercross complete injury report below:


450SX


Cade Clason – Arm | Out


During the Tampa race, Clason's left arm was injured, so he is out of the race.


Christian Craig – Knee | Out


In 2024 in Las Vegas, Craig's knee was injured. He will be back on the track in Indianapolis or Birmingham.

 

Tristan Lane – Shoulder, Arm, Elbow | In


During the crash in Tampa, Lane's arm and elbow were injured, and his left labrum partially tore. Unspecified stitches were needed, as Lane cryptically shared on Instagram. Despite all that, he's still in.


Hunter Lawrence – Shoulder | Out


After a crash in Tampa, Hunter Lawrence is likely done for the rest of Supercross. He suffered a partially torn labrum and several fractures in his humerus (upper arm bone).


Jett Lawrence – ACL | Out


Lawrence will miss the entire season because he has a torn ACL and a minor tear in his meniscus. He got these injuries while playing in Glendale.


Freddie Noren – Shoulder | TBD


Noren fell during the Last Chance Qualifier in Glendale and hurt his shoulder. He missed the race in Tampa and when we checked in with him he said it was still uncertain if he would be ready for the race in Detroit.


Jorge Prado – Shoulder | Out


Prado had surgery and is now recovering after a crash at A2 caused his shoulder to dislocate.


Eli Tomac – Leg | Out


Tomac is currently out because he broke his fibula which is the smaller bone in the lower leg. There is no update on when he might return.

 

250SX East Region


Daxton Bennick – Head | Out


Bennick won't be in Detroit after taking a hit to the head during practice this week. He's out with a concussion.


Pierce Brown – Back | Out


After fracturing his T5 vertebra in a crash while leading the 250SX main event in Tampa, Brown is out for the season. He's had surgery and is on the road to recovery.


Casey Cochran – Leg | Out


Cochran was just cleared to ride again after a leg injury back in November. It's still up in the air when he'll be back on the track.


Matti Jorgensen – Hand | Out


Jorgensen missed the Tampa round with a broken hand. He's aiming to make a comeback in Daytona.


Lorenzo Locurcio – Finger | In


Locurcio broke his finger in a crash during qualifying in Tampa when he landed on another rider's bike. But he's tough as nails and will be racing in Detroit despite the injury.


Devin Simonson – Wrist | Out


Simonson hurt his wrist before the season even started and needed surgery. He's still a few weeks out from returning to action.


Carter Stephenson – Concussion | Out


Carter Stephenson took a tough fall in Tampa and ended up with a concussion. He'll be sitting out the Detroit race, and his sights are now set on making it to Daytona.


Jalek Swoll – Achilles | Out


After tweaking his Achilles before the A1 race Swoll is out for the season.
