Eli Tomac to Miss 2025 Detroit Supercross After Injury Setback
Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's Eli Tomac will not be competing in the upcoming Monster Energy AMA Supercross rounds. Last weekend his leg was injured during the 5th round of the championship in Tampa, Florida; he needs a full rest to recover. At first everyone thoughts that he had a bruised calf and a sprained ankle but when they examined him more closely , they found he had a broken fibula.
The eight-time AMA Supercross/Motocross Champion raced in Tampa despite his injury, displaying true bravery. He earned five points and continued to be in the running for the competitive 450SX Championship after finishing seventh in his heat race and even competing in the main event. Tomac will concentrate on fully recovering for the time being, and we'll hear an update on when he plans to return to racing.
