High Point National MX Injury Report 2024



The 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship High Point National Race will be held in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, on June 15, 2024. Check out who will play in the event and who is out due to injury.

450 Class

Derek Drake: Back and Out

Drake's back issue keeps him out of action for now. At the end of the season, he intends to make a few race returns.

Derek Kelley, Head | In

Kelley was in Thunder Valley and suffered a minor concussion. He informed us this week that he is not displaying any symptoms, as per his doctor. So he will play in the race.

Garrett Marchbanks: Thumb | Out

Marchbanks suffered a thumb injury on media day, shortly before the start of the season, and will miss High Point.

Phil Nicoletti, Knee | In

After suffering a knee injury at Hangtown, Nicoletti will make his racing comeback this weekend at High Point.

Eli Tomac, Thumb | Out

In Denver, Tomac suffered from a thumb Bennett fracture as well as ligament tears. By the conclusion of the season, he expects to return for a few races.

Cooper Webb: Thumb | Out

Webb is coping with a torn thumb UCL. After the season, his team believes he can return for a few races.

250 Class

Guillem Farres, Femur | Out

Farres is not participating in Supercross because of a broken femur. He had to have knee surgery, and his recuperation hasn't gone as well as planned. There's no schedule in place for his return as of yet.

Austin Forkner: Spine, Scapula, and Out

Forkner suffered a scapula, broken L3 and L4, and other injuries after he crashed during a supercross race. He also suffered from bleeding and damaged lungs, in addition to a shoulder socket injury.

Seth Hammaker: Shoulder | Out

Seth Hammaker was injured before the start of the season. There is currently no estimated date for his return.

RJ Hampshire, Wrist | Out

On the day before the season began, Hampshire had a wrist injury. Although his exact return date is unknown, he should reappear this season.
