2024 Birmingham AMA Supercross By the Numbers

As the season approaches its midway point, there is still a lot of data to sort through this week, even though the Monster Energy Supercross Series is making its first visit to Alabama since 1984.

With Atlanta Motor Speedway's hybrid track currently off the schedule and Talladega Superspeedway and Barber Motorsports Park nearby, fans of fast racing have plenty of reasons to visit this race, which is only 150 miles west of Atlanta.

Daytona has been a turning point in the intense points battle of the season. Several top riders, including Ken Roczen, Jason Anderson, and Aaron Plessinger, have suffered setbacks that will make the rest of the year more challenging for them. Before they can focus on Jett Lawrence, they must first navigate the challenges posed by Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton, and Cooper Webb, who present formidable obstacles despite not having insurmountable deficits.
