Monster Energy AMA Supercross 2024 Round 5 Injury Report

 

The Monster Energy AMA Supercross 2024 round 5 will take place in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday, February 3, 2024. This will be the first round of the 250SX East Region championship. Here you will see which rider will play and which is out. Check out the full Detroit SX injury report below:

450SX

Adam Cianciarulo: Finger | Out

At Anaheim 1, Cianciarulo broke the tip of a finger on his left hand. He had been pushing through the agony, but he decided to skip Anaheim 2. He will miss Detroit too.

Logan Karnow: Ankle | Out

At Anaheim 1, Karnow sustained a severe ankle injury. After surgery, he will be out for some time.

Ty Masterpool: Ankle | Out

Masterpool is currently recuperating from surgery he had done in the offseason to treat a bothersome ankle injury. He intends to return to supercross riding shortly.

Kevin Moranz: Concussion | Out

Before Anaheim 2, Moranz had a head injury. He intends to return to Glendale the following week, but he will miss Detroit.

Colt Nichols: Shoulder | Out

After being sidelined due to an injured rotator cuff, Nichols is back riding. Although Nichols hasn't set a specific return date, he will be back in Arlington.

Aaron Tanti: Shoulder | Out

Tanti suffered a glenoid fracture when he was practicing. After traveling back to his native Australia to have it mended, he is still recuperating. He will be back in action for round 8 in Daytona.

250SX East Region

Casey Cochran: Banged Up and Out

Until Cochran scores a few more points at the SX Futures rounds, he is not qualified to make his 250 SX debut. He missed that futures event due to a collision that occurred before A2. It is anticipated that he will return to action at Daytona (in futures).

Haiden Deegan, Wrist | In

Deegan had a severely sprained wrist in an off-season collision. According to Deegan, it was "nothing major." He will play in Detroit.

Enzo Lopes: Forearm | Out

Lopes will miss the season opener because he is currently recovering from a forearm injury. Although there isn't a set timetable for his return, Arlington is reportedly a possibility.

Stilez Robertson, Wrist | Out

Stilez Robertson is now sidelined due to a major wrist injury.

Dilan Schwartz, Wrist | Out

Schwartz is currently rehabilitating from a broken right radius and torn ligaments in his right hand. He will miss the first few 250SX East races.
